Outback Lifesavers

Outback Lifesavers

Get wet. Have fun. Learn lifesaving skills.

Learn more about water safety and lifesaving skills with the Oasis's Outback Lifesaver program this January!

Outback Lifesavers has been developed to provide children in and across regional / remote areas and communities near inland waterways with an active aquatic participation experience using inland waterways and local pools.

For age groups from U7s to U12s, it presents an opportunity for young lifesavers to develop their skills and understanding of safety around water, particularly inland waterways – plus a whole lot of fun!

Outback Lifesavers 2024 Wrap Up

Our Outback Lifesavers 2024 program proved to be a massive success, with 21 kids between the ages of 6 and 13 spending an hour each morning for a week during the school holidays learning valuable water safety and lifesaving skills, including having a very fun day on the rescue boards!

We we very impressed with all the students efforts and look forward to seeing you all again next year! Keep an eye out on our socials and emails for information regarding enrolments in 2025.
